Atholls open further office in the North East

With a population of some 11,000 in 2006 and a housing stock of over 5,200 the Town of Inverurie is booming. Much has happened over the past few years with a growth in residential, retail, industrial and commercial property within the area drawn by the excellent road and rail links as well as the quality of life within and around the Aberdeenshire county town some 17 miles north of Aberdeen.

In addition Inverurie also serves a rich mainly agricultural hinterland which has seen spectacular growth in recent years particularly in the residential sector including the towns of Westhill, Kintore. Old Meldrum. Ellon, Kemnay, Alford, Turriff, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, Banff, MacDuff. Huntly and Keith. Westhill in particular has seen unprecedented expansion in the commercial field in the Oil and gas and related sectors as well as the service industries. Westhill has also recently gained a Marks and Spencer’s, Tesco and Aldies and a major revamp of the existing shopping centre is proposed.

Inverurie is also to benefit from and expansion to the retail sector in the not too distant future with the construction of a retail park providing units for national retailers.

In response to a request from professional clients within the area we at Atholls opened our office in Inverurie to service all aspects of the professional work.
